Pauling prize awarded to Notre Dame graduate student
Jacob Morris, a third year graduate student in the Henderson laboratory was presented with the 2005 Hoffman Award for outstanding research at the annual American Crystallographic Association conference in Orlando. Jacob presented his work on the effects of additives on the assembly of two- and three-dimensional solid materials. He showed that specific solvent molecules can be empolyed to block certain crystal growth pathways and promote others.
December, 2006
Jacob Morris wins a Ludo Frevel crystallography scholarship for 2007.
