The College of Science's Ethics course provides a forum for discussions related to the responsible conduct of research and complements department sponsored activities, informal training and mentorship obtained in individual research labs. It is a unique opportunity for students to focus on some relevant topics facing scientists today.
Dear College of Science Students,
On Saturday, April 9, 2011 there will be a one-credit, pass/fail Ethics in Science Workshop taught by various faculty in the College of Science. This workshop will focus on some broad and relevant topics facing scientists today. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to attend as it will cover some important topics that scientists must consider. I hope this will be a day of important discussions that will resonate throughout your careers.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, April 9 from 9:30 am—6:00 pm in Jordan Hall, Room 101. We hope you will join us for this important course. Lunch and dinner will be provided to all of the students in the class.
